I confess that this post has, so far as I can tell, nothing to do with "Catholic legal theory."  But, I can't help it (mea culpa!) . . . Eduardo, what, exactly, is objectionably "tepid" about Sen. McCain's statement about Ayers to which you linked?  Did Ayers not bomb the Pentagon?  Was he not a terrorist?  Is he not unrepentent?  Has Obama actually been candid about the nature of his relationship with Ayers?  What, exactly, did Sen. McCain do wrong here?
