Eurozone Pitches In

Germany: ?100 Billion financial market stabilization fund and authority to guarantee up to ?400 Billion in bank debt.

Spain: Up to ?100 Billion of guarantees for new debt issued by commercial banks this year and an unspecified further amount next year.

England: £37 Billion into three largest banks: 60% stake in Royal Bank of Scotland and more than 40% of the combined Lloyds TSB and HBOS (the country?s largest mortgage lender).

Italy: $27 Billion allocated for banks.

France: Allocated $435 Billion for loan guarantees and $52 Billion to take stakes in banks.
