When to turn the heat on...

This is the time of year when we try SO hard to keep the furnace off as long as possible. More sweaters and blankets, less oil and gas. At work, the heating guidelines kick in on October 15th. See the minimum heating guidelines from the Office of Labor and Workforce Development. In residential settings for tenants, it starts on September 15th.
