Ben Hollis at Speaker U

Ben Hollis is a great Chicago brand, a visionary who's won Emmys and the Studs Terkel Award for fascinating, quirky television programs.  Ben was in the audience last week when I spoke at Speaker U, a program of the Illinois Chapter of the National Speakers Association, on "Stay out of Jail."  The title, selected by the program chair, was a strong dose of hyperbole, as it's unlikely speakers will face jail time for copyright and trademark infringement, but it gave me a starting point to share my message on creating a personal brand as a speaker.  I've spent time ...
