I underestimated what it would be like traveling cross-country with the world's wiggliest 8-month old, by myself. This is not an experience I will repeat.
A small mercy is that I found an overpriced but indispensable strap that let me tie Becca's monster car seat to a rolly bag, making it actually possible to move through the airport alone, instead of wandering about begging strangers to carry things for me.
We actually had a lovely trip, full of warm weather, family visits, and the obligatory shopping trips and pedicure I always get when I see Mom. Becca was on High Wiggle the entire weekend, and spent all of a party at my Grandma's hollering and banging on things.
And my uncle made me this sign, which says plenty about my family. (I'm not an Esq. yet, but it SHOULD be soon.)
I came home, wiped out, to find that PF had cleaned the apartment after visiting a CT casino to play poker, during which he won almost $200. Then he made us a giant baked ziti. Feeling much better.
