According to Instapundit, journalists and earmark-haters are talking about Joe Biden's alleged "bridge to nowhere"  -- the Indian River Inlet bridge connecting Bethany Beach to Dewey Beach.  You may have noticed that at this blog we almost never stray into random topics, but since I've walked, jogged, cycled, and driven across that bridge countless times (and fished off the old draw bridge that used to be there), I feel compelled to comment.  We should demolish the existing bridge, destroy the piers where the Cape May Ferry lands at Cape Henlopen, and tear up highway 26.   Senator Biden, tear down that bridge!
