: Threat LevelPalin Beauty Contest Video Won't Go Away
By Ryan Singel, Kevin Poulsen, Sarah Lai Stirland, Kim Zetter, and David Kravets
More eye-opening footage of Sarah Palin emerged on YouTube Friday. This time, the blurry footage from 1984 shows a young Sarah Heath in a hot pink one-piece swimsuit on a catwalk, where she participated in the Miss Alaska beauty contest.
YouTube keeps taking the video down because of copyright claims. For example, one of the links on the site says: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Splash News."
But the video clip is, of course, up again now on YouTube, courtesy of an account with the name "The Real Elitist," which refers to an online video made by the progressive documentary-making group Brave New Films.
Oddly, the clip for now doesn't seem to have migrated to any other video-sharing sites.
