Why You Should Attend ABA TECHSHOW -- The Keynote

I'm not quite done telling you the reasons why you should attend ABA TECHSHOW -- there are a lot of them! Today, my reason is short -- but very powerful. We are thrilled and extremely proud to announce that Marc Rotenberg, Executive Director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, will Keynote ABA TECHSHOW 2008. Increasingly, lawyers are using the Internet to communicate with clients, store information, and otherwise manage their practices. But are there privacy concerns? Marc Rotenberg will discuss the issue of privacy on the Internet, and the implications for the practice of law. EPIC is an organization devoted to focusing public attention on emerging civil liberties and to protect privacy, the First Amendment, and constitutional values. Marc Rotenberg currently chairs the ABA's Committee on Privacy and Information Protection, and has testified before Congress on many privacy issues. The keynote address will take place Thursday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m. To see it, you'll have to register for ABA TECHSHOW, which is easy to do online.
