Legal genius wanted

The time has finally arrived. I am looking for a junior attorney to work with me and assist me with my growing workload. I am looking for someone who is interested in working flexi-time to start. My thinking at the moment is to set a minimum budget for my new genius and put in place an incentive pay option where that budget is exceeded by predefined parameters. I believe in paying well for good work.

There is scope for the position to become full-time down the line and this will really be dependent on the amount of work that is available. This position is well suited for lawyers who are not looking for full-time employment at the moment but who may want to expand into that sort of position down the line.

The work I need assistance with is largely commercial with some commercial litigation work. I don’t handle family law or criminal work at all. I would like to take someone on who has experience in a commercial law firm drafting and reviewing agreements and conducting commercial litigation generally.

The work will be done remotely from wherever you may want to work although the successful candidate must be in Johannesburg (preferably) or possibly in Pretoria/Centurion and willing to travel to Johannesburg. You will need your own car and must to be pretty familiar with technologies like OpenOffice, instant messaging, social networking sites and other similar web-based tools. You will also need a stable and reliable DSL connection to the Internet as much of the work will be exchanged and reviewed only.
