: Expressio UniusFranken Still Writing SNL skits
ADVERTISEMENTS
This just looks bad, though I'm not sure there's anything rational to be angry about.Al Franken, Senate Candidate in Minnesota, was credited as an SNL writer as recently as last week, and had a role in developing a hard-on-McCain sketch that opened the show this past Saturday.
The story appeared to take the Franken campaign by surprise, prompting campaign spokeswoman Colleen Murray to at first say Franken did not write the skit, but later acknowledge Franken had a role in its development.
Here's the sketch Franken helped develop, though his role seems to have limited to two separate phone calls (not script-writing).
