: Legal Pad | LASan Diego judge Lisa Schall publicly admonished for drunk driving
By Jason Siegel
San Diego Superior Court judge Lisa Colleen Schall was publicly admonished by the state Commission on Judicial Performance on Tuesday for drunk, reckless driving in Escondido last year, the Metropolitan News-Enterprise reported (here).
Schall drove on the wrong side of a divided road and was found to have a 0.09% blood-alcohol level after being arrested on Sept. 12, 2007.
Schall actions show "a serious disregard of the principles and official conduct embodied in the California Code of Judicial Ethics" the commission found.
Schall was previously admonished in 1995 for her involvement in a juvenile dependency case and in 1999 for abusing her contempt power, MetNews reported.
