Sometimes there are negative messages that really resonate. Calling Obama out for bittergate, or chiding McCain for not knowing on the spot how many investment properties his wife owns.

Then there are those that have absolutely zero chance of resonating.

I give you, Rosegate.

Did you see it? Obama (and Bloomberg, btw) *toss* they're roses while McCain and Cindy kneel down and lightly place their roses on the memorial.

No one would suggest that this matters, right? Wrong.

In the great book of all the important outrages to hold onto, this ranks quite low on the list, I think.
