Paterson Man Accused of Murdering His Girlfriend

Police arrested a man on Paterson homicide charges after investigators found his girlfriend?s body stuffed in a bag in his apartment, according to a Star-Ledger new report. Randy Martin, age 47, is being held on $1 million bail. His girlfriend, 26-year-old Maria Hoppe of Randolph was reported missing on June 10. Her body was reportedly found in the bedroom of Martin?s apartment. Martin?s apartment was searched by the Passaic County Prosecutor?s Office and other law enforcement agencies. Murder is probably the most serious crime with the most serious consequences of all the criminal charges in the United States.
