: Legal Ethics ForumLaw Professor Creates New Television Show About the Criminal Justice System
Seton Hall professor and former Bronx public defender David Feige is a co-creator, writer, and supervising producer for a new television show called Raising the Bar. The show focuses on the criminal justice system and was inspired by Feige's book about his experience as a public defender. Steven Bochco (of NYPD Blue and L.A. Law fame) co-created the show with Feige and is the executive producer.
These shows sometimes offer great fodder for discussion in legal ethics classes (The Practice was the all-time champion in this regard), and since Feige is an academic, I'm particularly excited to check out his show. And for what it's worth, Feige has one of the coolest side jobs in legal academia.
