McCain's Colorado Problem

To win the election, McCain can't lost all three of the following states unless he does something dramatic (i.e., pulls Minnesota or Wisconsin out of blue territory):

Colorado, Michigan, and New Mexico.

Michigan went blue in both 2000 and 2004, and would be tough to flip. New Mexico isn't looking good right now.

Which means McCain needs Colorado to win the election.

Except even with the convention bounce, Obama is up by 3 in the latest Fox News/Rasmussen poll.

Obama has to love that. Down by 3-10 points nationally, he's still winning the electoral college 273-265.
