Three business & tech lawyers join Procopio Cory

Attorneys Steven Jaye, John Cleary and Vessela V. Stoyanova joined San Diego's Procopio Cory.

Jaye, who joined the firm as of counsel, spent the last 13 years as senior vice president and general counsel for Sunrise Medical in San Diego. Before that, he was vice president of legal affairs at Magma Power Company,  a geothermal energy company, and a business attorney at Latham & Watkins. Jaye works on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, health care and alternative energy projects.

Cleary joined Procopio as senior counsel. He was previously an associate at Solomon Ward and in-house counsel for a public traded company based in Kansas. Cleary works on securities transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and SEC reporting and compliance.

Stoyanova, previously at Nixon Peabody's San Francisco office, joined Procopio as an associate. She works on finance and corporate matters, representing state and local agencies, investment banks, letter of credit and liquidity banks, private companies, and nonprofit corporations in a range of tax-exempt municipal financings and private placements.
