Law Students

As some of you know, T is scheduled to take a 2 week trip to Egypt and Jordan for her spring break, beginning at the end of March. Both excited and nervous, I can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that she has this amazing opportunity at such a young age.

We attended the 3rd of 4 "Egypt meetings" a couple of weeks ago. Toward the end of the meeting, the teacher primarily responsible for organizing the trip told us (students and parents) she had a story to tell that she hoped we would find funny.

Seems the agency in charge of assigning a guide to the student group for a portion of their trip was having trouble deciding between two men, each of whom had his strong points and reasons why he would be a good fit for the group. The catch? The agency (and subsequently the teacher) hoped we parents wouldn't become skittish upon learning the name of one of the guides, should he be assigned.

His name? Jihad.
