Naturally, NOW is upset, but it's hard to discern its real objection to women being segregated from the "evil gender" of men and thereby out-performing them. Just as abortion harms women, so does a co-ed learning environment. NOW supports both. Hmmm . . . Gender in fact does matter. It is something that we "can't not know."
