Reed Smith's Jim Martin elected president of L.A. Bar Foundation

James_martin Reed Smith attorney Jim Martin was elected the next president of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the bar association.

Martin, who's focused on appellate law for three decades, is a fellow and director in the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and a member and former president of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers.

The current president of the foundation is Steptoe & Johnson's Katessa Charles Davis.
