: Chris King's 1st Amendment PageKingCast bids goodnight to Issac Hayes.
By Christopher King
Ouch again. First Bernie Mack then Issac Hayes. I never met Bernie Mack but I did have the pleasure of busting chops with Issac Hayes and Evander Holyfield one evening at this show with Bootsy, George Clinton and Maceo. In person Issac Hayes is a formidable person. Obviously Evander is a bigger man and more physically imposing but Sir Issac had mad presence, in part because of his vocal delivery and in part because.... he.... was.... well.... Issac Hayes.
Too soon. Too early.
I'm sitting here listening to the 70's channel. Steve Miller Band (Fly Like an Eagle, yah)... Peter Frampton. Diana Ross, The Raspberries "Going all the way...." (Eric Carmen's son attended my prep school, which makes me laugh for some reason. No offense, I guess you don't think of Eric Carmen having a kid). And of courser The Undisputed Truth.... which reminds me of the Franconia Oldie of the Day 5 Dec. 2007 "Smiling Faces." Read it.
