: Law Blog - WSJ.comLaw Blog Contest of the Day: Create Your Own Firm Slogan!
By Peter Lattman
We got a press release yesterday from Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell announcing a new ad campaign directed at building the firm’s brand. Last October, Texas-based Locke Liddell combined with Chicago-based Lord Bissell & Brook. (If Locke Liddell rings a bell, it might be because it’s the once and current firm of Harriet Miers, the former White House counsel.)
Here’s the new logo. But we’re more interested in the advertising campaign’s slogans: “Delivering more than the expected: Practical wisdom, trusted advice.”
This got us thinking about about other firms that have their own slogans:
- Exhibit A: DLA Piper – Everything Matters
- Exhibit B: Andrews Kurth — Straight Talk is Good Business
- Exhibit C: Bingham McCutchen – Legal Insight. Business Instinct.
Law Blog Contest of the Day: Any other slogans out there we should highlight Law Blog readers? Which is your favorite? Or, even better, imagine you’re an ad man or woman running the campaign of a big law firm. Can you come up with your very own Big Law slogan?
