First Woman Jury - And Other Amazing Photos

This 1911 photograph of the first all-woman jury is from an amazing collection of some 3,000 copyright-free photos posted by the Library of Congress to photo-sharing site Flickr. With these photos, the LOC and Flickr are joining forces to launch a new initiative, The Commons, to enhance understanding of these photos through public tagging and commenting.
