USPTO to Host Weekly Patent Examiner Job Interview Sessions at Alexandria Headquarters

The USPTO will host weekly on-site job interview sessions in Alexandria on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting October 16, 2007 through December 13, 2007. The weekly interview sessions are designed to help recruit patent examiners for FY 08.

The weekly interview sessions are geared toward individuals who have a bachelor's or advanced degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science, chemistry and pharmacology. Applicants must also have effective oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to succeed in a production environment.
