: Just a Patent ExaminerTrick or Treat?
The PLI Blog will be live blogging the hearing.
From the announcement:
"I am pleased to announce that the Patent Practice Center blog sponsored by the Practising Law Institute will be represented live at the GlaxoSmithKline v. USPTO preliminary injunction hearing on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. John White, a patent attorney and Director of the PLI Patent Bar Review Course, will be in attendance at the hearing and providing the blog with near real time updates throughout the day, so be sure to check back from time to time if you cannot be there to see how things are going and whether any injunction has issued. John, who is more familiar with the Eastern District than I am tells me that it is not out of the question for an injunction ruling to be issued from the bench, particularly in a situation like this where time is of the essence.
What we plan to do is have John call me with updates throughout the day regarding how the hearing is going, providing his insights and impressions. I will then immediately post the reports on the Patent Practice Center blog. So stay tuned to the Patent Practice Center blog throughout the day on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. The hearing starts at 10:00 am and we plan to have a lot of updates as soon as anything worthy or reporting happens. If John can find a reliable enough wireless signal for his laptop he also plans on making his own posts during the lunch break and immediately following the hearing."
Should be interesting, to say the least.
