Obama Plane Makes Unscheduled Landing

Wow this is scary. I really hope the guy isn't too shaken up. I would be.

The pilot ha[d] announced from the cockpit that the plane experienced a problem maintaining the proper pitch, or control over keeping the nose at the proper angle, as it was taking off from Chicago. FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown says the plane had a flight control problem.

With the amount of flying the campaigns are doing, I guess it's not surprising they occasionally have technical problems.

But every time I hear something like this it makes me think of the Wellstone tragedy. God forbid that kind of thing happens again.
