ADVERTISEMENTS
A few weeks ago I noted that Barack Obama actually won New Hampshire. Now it looks like he actually won Nevada as well.
There are two kind of delegates. The more important kind, nationally speaking, are the [national convention delegates], of which Obama ? according to a revised AP count ? is expected to emerge with 13 to Clinton's 12.
This story is getting a little more traction than the New Hampshire story, partly because it involves sheer popular vote totals instead of super delegates. That is, Obama isn't relying on super delegates unbound by the popular vote in Nevada. He's simply noting that his support was weighted in a geographic way that gives him more delegates.
So congratulations to Senator Obama for his third primary win.
