Huckabee: The Secret Weapon

Having lost South Carolina, and likely out of momentum from his Iowa victory, what is Mike Huckabee doing in the race still?

First, let's be honest and say that he may win some of the southern states on February 5th, Super Tuesday.

But other than that, Politico has 2 other theories:

1. He hates Mitt Romney.

Very plausible. His campaign manager has admitted as much. Is Huckabee in this to knock of Romney even if he can't win it himself?

I think he may be.

2. McCain's VP.

Also very plausible. I think it's clear as of now that McCain may be a one-term President, or God forbid, pass away in office. That means a VP slot is a huge coup for whoever gets it. Huckabee clearly has thought about it. And the ticket could "charm it's way into the White House."
