Congrats to Mike O'Neill!

Mike O'Neill, who is currently a professor at George Mason, was recently nominated by President Bush to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia. Mike and I grew up together in Wisconsin -- indeed, he is responsible for bringing me to BYU in the first instance -- and we had dinner twice in April during my visit to DC. I wondered whether he might be ripe for an appointment like this. The Senate would do well to confirm him swiftly, as he would make a great judge. Congrats, Mike!
