I'm curious what Michelle Obama's reaction was to the story underlying this post, which had starlet Scarlett claiming to have frequent email communication with the Senator.

Probably not friendly. And it sounds like Barack wants to make sure he doesn't sleep on the couch again.

Alas, Mr. Obama put a kibosh on any notion of an instant-messaging friendship, saying that she sent an e-mail to his assistant, Reggie Love, who in turn forward it to Obama.

The candidate smiled and mimicked working his BlackBerry. ?I write saying ?Thank you Scarlett for doing what you do? and suddenly we have this e-mail relationship.?

You can almost visualize Obama tugging on his collar while talking.
