Goodwin Procter names new director of development for the West Coast

Megan M. Propp has joined Goodwin Procter as the firm's director of business development for the West Coast.

Propp was the vice president of business development at Cooley Godward Kronish in Palo Alto, Calif. She was responsible for business development and client retention in the firm's Silicon Valley office.

In her role at Boston-based Goodwin, Propp, who will be located at the firm's Menlo Park, Calif., and San Francisco offices, will be responsible for business development and marketing efforts in California. She also will spend time at the firm's offices in San Diego, Los Angeles and Century City, Calif.

Goodwin, which has 90 attorneys on the West Coast, opened its offices in Century City and San Francisco in 2006. Last year, the firm opened offices in downtown Los Angeles, San Diego and Silicon Valley.
