How To Do Comments in HTML on Groklaw

By Pamela Jones et al.

ADVERTISEMENTS
So many have asked how to leave comments as HTML that we decided to show you. We have a new static page, A Basic HTML Tutorial, so you can reference it any time you wish to.

It's not hard. And you don't have to use everything we show you. If all you want is to learn how to leave a link, it's there. But there's more too, for those who are interested, a quick crash course which Erwan and I -- mostly Erwan -- put together for you. He taught me almost everything I know about HTML, and he makes fun of me all the time when I goof, and I still don't know half what he knows, so I asked him to build on the article I started, and he surely did.

You don't have to use any of it, by the way. Plain text is fine with me, and don't be intimidated or feel pressured to do your comments in HTML. What matters is that you contribute what you know or find. I care about that above form.

This tutorial is only if you wish to know how to do it, and I've seen enough requests that I realized we should make it available. We also explain what works on Groklaw and what doesn't, for those who already know HTML but bump into our quirks. Enjoy.
