: Legal Pad | LAPellicano attorneys ask for new trial

Attorneys for private investigator Anthony Pellicano are claiming juror misconduct and asking for a new trial, the Associated Press reported.
Pellicano was convicted on 76 of 77 counts for illegal wiretapping last month.
The attorneys are claiming that some of the jurors were biased, that one juror heard about a witness who was expected to testify from her husband and that some of the jurors talked about the case without other jurors present, according to the AP.
