: China Law BlogHow To Succeed In China Without Karaoke
By Dan Harris and Steve Dickinson
ADVERTISEMENTS
In "Singing a Different Song in China," the Off The Record blog convincingly argues that karaoke is not necessary to succeed in business in China and tells us how to avoid karaoke without jeopardizing one's business. The post was written to counteract a WSJ article, entitled, "With Karaoke, A Deal in China For a Song," touting the benefits of participating in karaoke. But that article also makes clear that "bowing out gracefully from a night at a club will do no harm to any business relationship."Full post as published by China Law Blog on June 15, 2008 (boomark / email).
