Sex, the city - and the library!

Die Spatzen pfeifen es ja von den Dächern: “Sex and the city - the movie” ist über weite Strecken in der Tat ein Werbespot für diverse Mode-Labels. Aber neben Vuitton, Westwood und Co. bekommt überraschenderweise auch die Marke Bibliothek ihren Gala-Auftritt im Film zur Serie: Heldin Carrie proklamiert ihre Liebe zu geliehenen Büchern aus der Bibliothek sowie dem Geruch derselben, wird als (säumige) Bibliotheksbenutzerin gezeigt - und wählt schließlich die spektakuläre New York Public Library als Location für ihre (nicht minder spektakuläre) Vermählung mit Mr. Big. Ein Kollege aus der New York Public Library bloggt über Hintergründe und insbesondere dasjenige Buch auf Carries Leihliste, das als Vorlage für zahlreiche Liebes-E-Mails im Film dient.
