It's Official: M. Mouse is not running for AG in Oregon Republican

ADVERTISEMENTS
I love the periphera of elections.

It turns out that Multnomah County posts the official write-in results for elections where there is no party nominee.

The Republicans didn't nominate anyone for Attorney General this May (a sad commentary on the statewide GOP in Oregon). The PDF's are here.

Most interesting? M. Mouse got just one vote, outpolling D. Duck, who received no write ins!

It's almost a little amusing to read all the misspellings of the main Democratic nominees, John Kroger and Greg MacPherson. True to reports we've heard before, if you wrote in "John Kroeger", that's who the vote counted for, even if "John Kroger" was an actual candidate.
