Sounds like a great day to go to Las Vegas doesn’t it? Well, that’s my plan. I’m trying to finish up my write-on competition writing before I go to bed tonight (this morning). I need to get some sleep tonight though. I have Negotiations at 9:00a.m. Then at 11:00a.m. I’m on the road to Vegas.

For three days and two nights I will not think about law review. I will not think about mind-bottling Octobers. I will not think about being scholarly and writing. I will not think about anything if I can manage it.

But before then, I really need to finish my final draft, and at least get my footnotes laid out right. I can Bluebook everything on Monday before the paper is due. I only have Con Law. So on Monday the write-on will be over. I’ll write a post going over the process for everyone, and tell you all how I feel. Then I get to wait until June 23rd to find out whether I made it on or not. I have to admit, I am nervous. I’d really like to be on Law Review. I like writing.

Fortunately, even if I miss the cut this time, they do a write on every semester. I imagine that if I miss this time, I’ll learn from my mistakes enough to make it on the next time. I would just prefer to make it on this time because that way I can put it on my resume for Fall OCI.
