Kozinski Investigates Himself

As a fan of Judge Kozinski, I have to comment on the recent story involving his posting of crazy sexual photographs on a website. Of course, I could sit here and try to defend his actions, (it is important to note that he did nothing illegal), but I think I'd rather point to Kozinski's official reaction to the snafu. It is exactly because he responded in this way that I still hold him in high regard.

From the the WSJ Law Blog (quoting Judge Kozinski):

"I have asked the Judicial Council of the Ninth Circuit to take steps pursuant to Rule 26, of the Rules Governing Judicial Conduct and Disability, and to initiate proceedings concerning the article that appeared in yesterday?s Los Angeles Times. I will cooperate fully in any investigation.

Alex Kozinski"
