Getting My Name Out There

Today I learned that the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights (and also the ACLU of Northern Cal) is filing an amicus brief in an appellate case on immigrant rights, and they want to cite...my 3L paper, which was sent to them by the HLS immigration clinic folks. Eh? Say that again? And maybe cite it in another case, too. Wait. For reals?

So I got asked to put it on SSRN (a site where you can post and download academic papers) to give it an official cite. So first I metaphorically peed my pants, and then I did it. I look so official!

It's a pretty minor thing, but cool news on a sticky day.
