This is where media-driven hysteria over school shootings leads to ridiculous policies without any logic to them at all: a ten year old kid in Massachusetts has been suspended from school for 5 days for bringing an empty casing from a blank fired during a Memorial Day event to school. Are we just incapable of applying a little critical thinking here?
