The Ontario Court of Appeal recently upheld the dismissal by a jury of a $10 million action brought by a former employee against her employer and the police officer who was involved. The claim alleged malicious prosecution, wrongful dismissal, intentional infliction of mental distress and defamation. A summary is provided by the good folks at LexisNexis.
