Tony Richardson joins Reed Smith

A longtime partner at Kirkland & Ellis, Tony L. Richardson, has joined Reed Smith?s Los Angeles office.

Richardson joins Reed Smith?s West Coast commercial litigation group. He focuses on insurance coverage, class actions and product liability cases. He also handles mass tort, antitrust, unfair business practice and intellectual property litigation.

Richardson joins Reed Smith after 18 years at Chicago-based Kirkland, where he has been a partner since 1994. At Kirkland?s Los Angeles office, he was a member of the operations committee and pro bono coordinator. He was also a hiring partner and chairman of the recruiting committee. Firm-wide, Richardson was a member of the diversity and associate review committees.
