I do not know what comes over me sometimes.  Things just pop into my head and I repeat them when I know I probably should not.

One is a term those younger than me like to use today -  Early Nerd Special.  It means the midnight showing on the day of release of a highly-anticipated film, which is typically a science-fiction or fantasy film.

For some reason this was on my mind when I got home from dinner out and I saw that Robert Ambrogi's LawSites has a new design.  I see it pop up on my blog reader and I say to myself, "Great, I get to see the early nerd special".

I like Robert Ambrogi's blog very much.  Read nearly every post on things like E-discovery, Powerpoint, video and law firms.

In this day and age I do not think nerd is a bad word.  And frankly, in thinking about this I am not sure to whom this refers.  Probably me because I was the one excited to see his new site design.  Also, I did get an early look at it in that I was the first to comment on the post announcing it.

Best wishes to Robert Ambrogi.  I do like the new look despite my ornery, perverse attitude.   I being officially an old man, who is not cool in any way, my eyes strained sometimes in reading the old design.  I appreciate the change.
