Quickie Movie Review

By "Milbarge" and "Fitz-Hume"

ADVERTISEMENTS
I saw the new Indiana Jones movie today. I liked it a lot; very entertaining. Don't go in expecting perfection, but it's a worthy follow-up to the earlier ones, and far better than a lot of those one-more-for-old-time's-sake films retreads out there. (And it's light-years better than anything after the original trilogy in George Lucas's other universe.)

I know you're probably going to hear tidbits about this movie that might make you worry it went too far off the goofy end. But first of all, remember it's an homage to the movies from the period it takes place in, just like the first three were. And second, there's nothing in it that's inherently more ridiculous than the notion of an invincible gold box that melts faces or a Jesus cup that provides immortality. So lighten up! Enjoy the movie!
