Becca and I leave tomorrow for a long weekend in California. I have no idea what it'll be like to fly cross-country with a 4-month old, but she's got her own window seat (for her carseat) and I think that'll go a long way toward everyone's sanity. Let's hope for lots of naps. And I feel kind of good, all things considered, about seeing my family and bringing along a really cute baby to lift everyone's spirits.

Week 1 of bar study has gone well. I've already got my short "podcasts" (that's what GarageBand calls them, but mine have an audience of one) for Crim Law I and II, Crim Pro I and II, and Wills I and II recorded and loaded on my iPod, with Trusts coming up (after the So You Think You Can Dance premiere, of course). I even read the help file long enough to learn how to drop in sound effects - so each file has a couple seconds of intro and outro music and it sounds surprisingly NPR-like and awesome.

If you haven't been watching the current Jeopardy champion, Larissa, I would start now. She's super good, weirdly calm and composed, and is connected to us in the Jeopardy six degrees universe. And she'll almost certainly be in the TOC, so you can bet Dan is paying attention!
