On April 16, 2008, HSN L.P. and Ingenious Designs LLC recalled about 17,000 Charge-It-All Valets because a power strip located inside the valet has undersized wire, posing a fire hazard and shock hazard to consumers.
Effected power strips were sold with medium and large Joy Mangano Charge-It-All Valets, which are boxes with divided compartments that come with a power strip to allow the user to charge and organize items. The letters ?J? and ?M? are printed under the valet in cursive.
The recalled valets were sold exclusively at HSN L.P. from October 2007 through January 2008 for between $40 and $50.
Consumers who own a recalled HSN valet should immediately stop using the power strip and contact HSN L.P. at 888-540-7053 to receive a replacement power strip and an in-store refund. For more information, customers many also visit the company’s website.
