CA Bar Prep - Day 02

By Athar Khan

ADVERTISEMENTS

Yesterday was a relatively unproductive day. I came home from the 4 hour lecture on Contracts and was somehow too drained to do much else. I almost hate to admit it but I was simply overwhelmed by the amount of material I need to memorize by Saturday (for the exam) and the pace at which the class is progressing. All I ended up doing yesterday was review the UCC codes that we were supposed to cover today.

Today — although not as productive a day as I had hoped — was slightly better than yesterday. After the 4 hour lecture on UCC, I went to my school library and went over the 70 flash cards for Torts (which we will go over tomorrow morning). It took about 4 Hours to go through the material covered in the cards.

Then I came home and did 28 MBEs on Contracts in about an hour. My score was a brutal 50% but I am told that this is a fairly typical starting point for MBEs.

Even though I spent 9 hours on Bar Prep today, I still feel like I haven’t done enough because I wasn’t able to issue spot any essays. So, I am going to try and wake up early tomorrow morning and make up for lost time.

I am almost tempted to stop blogging about this but the 5 minutes I spend on writing a post helps me keep track of my progress and hold myself accountable.
