Many lawyers dream of starting their own practices, but the realities of launching a business can be intimidating.  While there are a number of excellent resources available concerning solo startups (including MyShingle.com), the Rainmaker has posted a suggested reading list that has proven to be very helpful in my own experience.  You’ll note that the post was written with law students in mind, but the recommended books are also useful to practicing attorneys who might not fully understand the business end of starting and maintaining a practice.
