2008 Spyder Roadsters recalled because of brake abnormality

Drivers may be unable to stop vehicle as expected

On December 19, 2007, Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) Inc. recalled 476 of its 2008 Can-Am Spyder Roadsters because of an abnormal quantity of air in the hydraulic circuit of the front brake. This may require the driver to push the brake pedal almost to the floor, resulting in the vehicle not stopping as expected.

BRP dealers will inspect and repair the brake system as needed. Owners may contact the company at 1-888-864-2002.
