KingCast asks whether Sergeant Wentworth wrote this slanted, inaccurate story about 5/11.

It is unbelievable what passes for journalism these days. Here's a Concord Monitor and Seacoast Online story by Clare Trapasso in which Angela McKay notes that "Perhaps trying to push to get the roadway named after Bruce wasn't the best idea."

That much is an accurate quote and a fact. The rest of the article is less than forthcoming. Here are four (4) examples:

1. McKay, 48, was killed last May after pulling Liko Kenney, 24, over for speeding.
.....Says whom?

2. Police said McKay pepper-sprayed Kenny in an attempt to take him into custody.
.....Says whom? There was absolutely no verbal command given, in blatant violation of this policy. Plus as you shall see in section 3 custody was not the favored operating procedure.

3. Then Kenney ran over McKay's body with his car.
.....Well yah, after McKay had patently violated all pursuit and OC Spray policies and after Floyd started shooting, according to the McKay spent casings and Floyd's own son at p745 of NH AG Kelly Ayotte's own pdf files.

4. A jury ruled Floyd was justified in the shooting.
......I must have missed that trial.

I ask if Wentworth wrote it for them because he's already written the facts in his mind when he said Liko Kenney was a "dirtbag" here at pdf 353, which was seconded by the other "investigating" officer. Good thing Wentworth was the one on whom McKay had specifically called for backup that day and that he was the one to secure the scene, see him there at the head of the Tahoe.

BTW we all know that McKay worked in Haverhill as noted in this WMUR story. But the question is, did he encounter any disciplinary or ethical problems there, and if so did that department hide them the way that Franconia's Chief Montminy and the town tried to hide the Troy Watts ethics complaint and other complaints that never appeared in the mass media that KingCast chronologized in the Bruce McKay legacy post.
