: Legal Pad | LASix private wealth lawyers rejoin Holland & Knight in L.A.
By Jason Siegel
Six private wealth lawyers lead by trusts and estates partner Bruce
Ross have rejoined the Los Angeles office of Holland & Knight.
All six come from the Los Angeles office of San Diego-based Luce Forward where several of them joined two years ago following layoffs and office closures at Holland & Knight.
Ross and Sean Higgins rejoin Holland & Knight as partners in the Los Angeles office. Ross litigates trust, estate and conservatorship cases and has handled international succession cases in countries such as Switzerland, Israel and Australia. Higgins focuses on complex trust, estate and conservatorship litigation, trust and estate administration and estate planning.
Linda Rottman has rejoined as senior counsel. She handles trust and estate litigation. Vivian Lee Thoreen, Jonathan Park and Tony Vu have rejoined as associates.
Not all the lawyers who left Holland & Knight for Luce Forward two years ago are returning. Remaining at the firm are partners John Rogers Jr. and Geraldine Wyle* and senior counsel Jeryll Cohen and Shelley Meacham, all in Los Angeles.
-- Amanda Bronstad
*Wyle was named to lead the Luce Forward's Los Angeles family wealth and exempt organizations practices, following the decision by Ross and others to return to Holland & Knight.
